We’ve just signed the legendary Michael Angelo Batio (MAB) as a new Rotosound endorsee. You’ll know him as one of the most amazing guitar shredders of our time – and an incredible musician. MAB is widely known for his rapid and articulate alternate picking, and has developed several pioneering techniques which he puts down to his advanced knowledge in music theory.

It’s not just us who thinks he’s amazing either – he’s been voted No. 1 Shredder of All Time by Guitar Magazine, listed in the Top 100 Greatest Metal Guitarists of All Time by Guitar World Magazine, one of the 20 Greatest Shredders of All Time by Total Guitar Magazine and has one the Best Shredder Category in the 2009 Guitar World Magazine Readers Choice Awards. Aside from being an amazing guitarist, he’s an accomplished teacher too, and has been credited with teaching Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine and Mark Tremonti of Creed.
