As retail moves online or over the phone many shops will be feeling the pressure that shipping out orders involves. To help our retailers process more orders more efficiently we’ve introduced a new drop shipping service which allows customer orders to be shipped directly from our warehouse. The process is really simple and uses our usual order portal, The Music Alliance website.
By using our drop shipping service, retailers can free up time spent packing boxes and printing labels to concentrate on engaging with customers and driving sales.

How It Works
Drop shipping with us is a piece of cake!
Just take your customer order as usual, add the items through The Music Alliance site, and have it shipped directly to the customer. We will then invoice you for the order at our usual trade price plus shipping.
Once you’ve received your customer’s order head over to The Music Alliance website and login. If you haven’t got an account yet you’ll need to register.
- Add the customer’s chosen products to the cart. Click the shopping cart icon in the top right when you’ve added all of the items then click ‘review order’.
- Tick the box ‘I want my order delivered to a different address’ and enter the customer’s address.
- Click on ‘place your order’ and wait for the order confirmation screen to appear.
Drop Shipping Criteria
Please follow these rules to ensure that your customer’s order is processed:
The item must be showing green IN STOCK on the TMA website.
The item’s total trade value must be over £20 ex. VAT. This can be a multiple item order.
Shipping is only within the UK.
The receivers address and phone number must be added in the ‘change the delivery’ address box on the website when you go to check out.
Additional items cannot be added on to shipments once the order has been placed.
Shipping & Returns
Items will be posted with UPS up to 20kg and charged at £7. Customers will receive an email with tracking details.
If any item that is sent via Rotosound using the drop ship method is damaged, lost or faulty it will be replaced by Rotosound and no extra carriage charges apply. However, if the goods need to be returned because they are unwanted the cost must be met by the customer.
Our current shipping days are Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Friday.
