We’re excited to hear about the announcement of the recent release of Living Colour’s new EP “Who Shot ‘Ya” available on iTunes, Amazon & Google Play featuring guests Public Enemy’s Chuck D, the Roots’ Black Thought, Pharoahe Monch, Prodigal Sunn, and Kyle Mansa.
In other Living Colour news, the band will be celebrating the Grand Opening of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture in Washington D.C. on Saturday, September 24 in a musical performance also featuring The Roots and Public Enemy.
Entitled “Freedom Sounds: A Community Celebration”, the themes of the free 3- day event highlight the social power of African American music as a communicator of cultural values, challenges, aspirations and creative expression, as said by Mark Puryear, a Smithsonian Folklife Festival program curator.
Living Colour is set to begin a co-headling tour with Glenn Hughes on November 8 in the UK and continuing through Europe until mid December. Doug is currently in Germany in rehearsals with Schiller with the arena tour beginning September 27 in Dresden, Germany.
